I've lived in the UK for thirty years, but my heart still holds the vibrant colors of Jamaica, my homeland. My interest in drawing was sparked when I saw my younger sister's artwork and thought, "I can do that." Years later, in the UK, I pursued art through local college courses and private still life classes. At first, it was intimidating, but I soon found beauty in everyday objects. While I experimented with abstract art in college, it wasn't until recently that I revisited it seriously. Now, my creativity flows naturally, with each brush stroke, color, and movement surprising me.
